FNNC is a natural gas processing plant designed to process 250 mmscfd(million standard cubic feet per day) of raw gas.

Processing the gas involves removing the acidic components and treating it before sending it to the TransCanada Pipeline (TCPL). The incoming feed gas, dehydrated at upstream dehydration facilities, contains a high amount of CO2 (11-13%) and a small amount of H2S (<100 ppm). A methyl diethanolamine-based gas sweetening process achieves this objective, producing a wet gas.

A triethylene glycol(TEG) process sweetens the wet gas by dehydrating it before sending to TCPL.
