View source for TEG Losses

The TEG dehydration process may experience some loss of TEG. However, in case of heavy losses or a sudden change in the TEG losses, the following areas should be investigated:
*excessive TEG lost from contactor:
:-excessive gas flow causing entrainment flooding?
:-incoming lean TEG too hot?

*excessive TEG lost from TEG stripping column:
:-reflux coil cooling properly to condense carryover vaporized TEG?
:-reboiler/stripping steam temperature too hot?
:-liquid hydrocarbons flooding column?

*physical TEG leaks:
:-heat exchangers or vessel leaks?
:-pump, flange, or valve leaks?
